Action for Clean Tap Water in America (ACTWA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization whose mission is to raise awareness of health issues affecting the nation's drinking water and to partner with schools, government and communities to advocate for safe water in America.

ACTWA is excited about a breakthrough technology with game-changing potential to abate the planet's burden of rubber and plastic. The discovery of the oligocyclobutane molecule by Princeton researchers, led by Professor Paul Chirik, has vast implications for "closed loop" recycling of plastics and cleaner water for the planet.  Read Isabella Stahlman's Q&A with Professor Paul Chirik.

Did You Know?
Did you know that chromium-6, the chemical at the center of the now famous "Erin Brockovich" story, has been found in the tap water of more than 200 million Americans in all 50 states? What does this mean for you and your family? What steps is the United States Environmental Protection Agency taking, and what can you do to make the right choice for yourself and your family?

Read ACTWA's interview with the leading scientist for the Environmental Working Group in Washington D.C., Dr. David Andrews.
